DCS/SCADA Systems Integration & Support

GTC International is an accredited GE Cimvar, providing design and integration of the GE Fanuctm PLC and GE Cimplicity HMItm graphical interface products. As a PLC integrator, GTC International can provide design and integration using all major brands of PLC 's. New system designs are built on GE Fanuctm or Allen Bradleytm PLC platforms to suit an individual client's requirements. GTC International is Canada's foremost provider of technical support on Westinghouse WDPFtm DCS systems. GTC International recently met the challenge to develop and implement complex boiler control logic to be used on a gas turbine fired 'once through steam generator', (OTSG).

Video Borescope Inspections

GTC International maintains a state of the art Olympus full screen videoscope inspection system. Using a 5mm flexIble videoscope or a rigid borescope.GTC International technicians are able to perform complete internal inspections on any type of plant equipment where a non-destructive and non-intrusive inspection may be required. While gas turbine engine inspections constitute the predominant use of the system, GTC International has performed inspections on a various types of equipment within a plant. Combined with video capture software, images can be digitally reproduced and sent via email to anywhere in the world.

Commissioning & Startup

GTC International is one of the leading commissioning and startup service providers in the industry. Through years of development, GTC International has built a detailed and comprehensive commissioning procedure to insure that all systems within a plant are thoroughly tested, documented and commissioned prior to being brought on line. GTC International can provide complete plant or segregated system commissioning. Our procedures have resulted in the smooth and scheduled startup of a number of major cogeneration facilities throughout North America. GTC International was proud to be selected to perform commissioning and startup of the worlds first industrial Rolls RoyceTrent cogeneration plant. At 50-60MWe, the Trent is currently the worlds largest aeroderivative industrial gas turbine. The GTC International commissioning program is used as a module in a leading annual cogeneration teaching seminar.

Through associations with leading turbine packaging, OEM and component overhaul facilities throughout the world, GTC International provides a complete overhaul management service. Combined with our in house abilities in electrical, NDIT, instrumentation and controls, GTC International is able to respond to a plant's needs whether in a scheduled outage or an emergency situation. Power Distribution & Generation

GTC International provides technical design and support services for electrical distribution, protective relay setup, scheduled substation service/maintenance, Level 1 certified thermographic inspections, SCADA design and control. Extensive experience in providing solutions to synchronizing schemes, switching, load shed schemes and power system data aquisition provides us with the tools necessary to tackle any electrical system problem. Effective troubleshooting of complex systems remains our specialty.
